Ed Weiss was born in New York, New York. Resides in Stapleton, Staten Island. Raised in Brooklyn Heights. Attended Brooklyn Friends School from grades K-12. Graduate of Bennington College, Bennington, Vermont (art\theater major ). Active in the 1980s and 1990s, East Village performance art and rock scene. His serial The Onyx Fool ran for three months at the legendary club 8 BC. His work as a performer, and creator, has been shown at numerous venues including: The Pyramid Club, The Kitchen, BAM, La Mama, TNC, and The Mark Taper Theater Complex (LA).
An odd fact that most people don’t know about the author: He once bartended at the Penguin & Puffin Hut at the Central Park Zoo.
