ED WEISS: AUTHOR OF PETER PIGEON OF SNUG HARBOR

Ed (also known as Eddie or Edward) Weiss, was born in NY, NY, raised in Brooklyn and lived most of his life in the Big Apple before before moving to the Hampden section of Baltimore, Maryland in 2012. It was a stint on Staten Island  from 2004-2011  that inspired his award winning book  Peter Pigeon of Snug Harbor.  Prior to that, Weiss was active in the 1980s and 1990s, East Village performance art and rock scene. His serial, The Onyx Fool ran for three months at the legendary club 8 BC, and has been included in the Smithsonian Institution Archives of American Art . His work as a performer, and creator, has been shown at numerous venues including: The Pyramid Club, The Kitchen, BAM, La Mama, TNC, and The Mark Taper Theater Complex in LA.
